(if using transfer paper)

1. to begin, you want to find an online image that you love. this is the fun part because you get to design what will be on your pillow!

2. insert your image onto a word, pages ect document and print it out to the size of you choice, making sure it will fit on your pillow. why not try a cute quote, image or even a personal picture! read your transfer papers instructions for this step, as you may need to flip or adjust the image.

3. once your image is printed out, cut the excess transfer paper off, trying to get as close to the image as possible. 

4. heat up your iron, and ask for a resbonsible adults help if needed. flip your image over (or whatever your transfer paper instructions say) and iron down onto your pillow case. make sure to get all the corners.

5. wait for the pillow to fully cool before examining your masterpiece! insert a pillow inside the case, and you are finished.

(if using paint + stencil)

1. to begin, select a stencil + paint colour of your choice. try something new such as a word or picture!

2. lay out newspaper either outside or on a flat surface. i would reccomend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty!

3. place your stencil on your pillow and arrange your stencil into whichever position you like.

4. lightly trace your stencil onto your pillow using pencil. you can then remove the stencil and start filling in the design with fabric paint.

5. once you have finished painting, i would leave the pillow case overnight to insure it has dried properly.

6. wait for the pillow case to dry fully before examining your masterpiece! insert a pillow inside the case, and you are finished.
